Welcome to Midwest, a premier investment casting manufacturer located in Aligarh, India. We specialize in producing high-precision, complex stainless steel and custom alloy cast components for demanding engineering applications.
For over 30 years, global buyers and domestic OEMs have trusted Midwest to deliver quality, consistency, and technical reliability. Whether you are scaling up production or seeking a dependable overseas manufacturing partner to optimize your supply chain, our state-of-the-art facility is equipped to meet your exact specifications.
Bridging Industrial Engineering and Premium Saddlery
Midwest is globally recognized as a market leader in manufacturing premium saddlery fittings for the equestrian industry. The same stringent quality controls, detailed craftsmanship, and advanced metallurgical knowledge required to produce our world-renowned saddlery hardware are applied to our heavy industrial components. We utilize our modern foundry to serve a diverse range of manufacturing sectors without ever compromising on precision.
Our Casting Capabilities
We offer comprehensive manufacturing solutions, from initial tooling design to final surface finishing.
Materials Poured: We specialize in 304 and 316 Stainless Steel and various Custom Alloy Steels tailored to your mechanical requirements.
Weight & Size Capacity: Capable of casting parts ranging from a few grams up to heavy-duty industrial components.
Precision Tolerances: Our processes ensure high dimensional accuracy that meets strict international engineering standards.
Surface Finish: We deliver net-shape or near-net-shape finishes, drastically reducing the need for costly secondary machining.
The Lost Wax Casting Process
To achieve the highest level of detail and structural integrity, we utilize the advanced lost wax casting method. This allows us to produce complex geometries that would be impossible or too expensive to machine from solid metal.
Wax Injection: We inject specialized wax into an aluminium die to create highly accurate, disposable replicas of your component.
Tree Assembly: Multiple wax patterns are attached to a central wax sprue to form a casting tree.
Shell Building: The tree is repeatedly dipped into a ceramic slurry and coated with fine sand to build a robust, heat-resistant shell.
Dewaxing: The shell is heated in an autoclave, melting the wax out and leaving a perfectly shaped hollow cavity.
Pouring: Molten stainless steel or alloy is poured into the pre-heated ceramic moulds under tightly controlled conditions.
Knockout & Finishing: Once cooled, the ceramic shell is broken away, parts are cut from the central sprue, and final surface treatments (like shot blasting or polishing) are applied.
Industries We Serve
Our versatile foundry infrastructure allows us to manufacture custom cast components for a wide array of demanding industries:
Equestrian & Saddlery: Premium, rust-resistant hardware, bits, and stirrups.
Automotive & Transportation: High-stress, durable engine, chassis, and transmission components.
General Engineering: Custom brackets, fittings, and precision machine parts.
Uncompromising Quality Assurance
Sourcing overseas requires absolute confidence in your manufacturing partner. At Midwest, risk mitigation and quality control are built into our workflow. Our modern testing facility ensures that every batch of metal meets precise chemical compositions and structural integrities before it ever leaves our factory floor.
